Day #12

Good evening! Today was a fairly boring and tiring day until about 1 o' clock when I met my friend and we went to the zoo, Wingham wildlife park is an amazing zoo, it has my new favourite animal - the goat, all the positives of a goat are:
  • Cuteness
  • Compact
  • Not high on a dangerous scale
  • Not endangered

Those are pretty good compared to a tiger which will maul your face off. Practical favourite animal = Goat.

Until tomorrow

Day #11

I am currently awake on 3 and a half hours of sleep, I am feeling so awake, so very awake.

My night was pretty wicked, I went and saw my primary school friend Arthur and we must have had a bad bottle of wine or something because we got a little bit merry. My photo editing software - PhotoScape is seemingly broken so the photo from today is unedited. The photo is just a collection of things on my bedside table. I must also say thank you very much to my Grandma for letting me stay over and very sorry for getting back at 5:30 this morning.

Until tomorrow

Day #10

I work in one of the greatest cities in the world, Canterbury. The city hold an amazing cathedral and when it is as warm as it was today, it is so lovely. Shame I had to work. At lunchtime I headed to the Marlowe theatre, next to the river that runs through, it was beautiful, it really felt like summer was in the air.

Until tomorrow

Day #09

Hey there! Crazy Friday night in for me! This photo was taken on the beach this afternoon, I loved how the haze took over the distance and my long lens was able to capture this.

Until tomorrow

Day #08

Hey there! I am shattered! People who read my last blog will know that I love taking photos of water, it is the beautiful simplicity that masks the amazing intricacy of every tiny drop. My last camera (Nikon D3000) took the photos much more effectively but I think I just need practice with this camera.

Until tomorrow

Day #07

Good evening! It has been cold today, cold enough for me to wear 3 layers. Yeah. That cold.

Currently I am watching a debate between Nigel Farage, loudmouth man-in-the-pub leader of the racists, I mean UK Independence Party and Nick baby face knows-everyone's-first-name Clegg, leader of the Liberal Democrats. I am of legal voting age and it is interesting to actually take an interest in. It is also interesting to see and hear the contrast between Lib Dem's and UKIP's leaders talking - Nick Clegg seems to use a lot of hand movement, eye contact and familiarity, whereas Nigel Farage seems to represent that crazy man that everyone tries to awkwardly ignore on a bus, he seems to shout down his opponent and then do a really strange creepy smile with an angry statement to accompany.

Not like that shows my political leanings (I like anyone that isn't a wolf in sheep's clothing)

Today's photo is of my Polaroids on my wall. I have been building it for a few months now and it is full of all the most important people in my life.

Until tomorrow

Day #06

Good evening. This is my guitar. Roxanne.

I have had this guitar for 3 years now, it is such a beautiful guitar, so bassy and lovely to play but it does have  a story. I bought this guitar for a deeper sound which it does deliver, but while I was looking round my favourite musical instrument shop (Hob Goblin) with the man (Pip) passing me guitar after guitar to try out, he suddenly went to the back and came out with this, second hand, traded in for a part exchange on a piano, I like to think that I walk past that piano man on the street every day. Who knows, maybe it's you. (Unlikely).

Until tomorrow when my school is on strike

Day #05

Hey there! It's a lovely bright Monday which means that a flower picture must be taken (Also a Nazi one).

Today I flicked on my old computer and listened to the music I was listening to when I was in year 9, I have to say that I had much better taste back then, Tom Petty, The Band and Lynard Skynard. I also sorted out my Flickr page, I will include a link below.

Until tomorrow

Day #04

Hey there! This post is no way late, I totally did it on time and did not forget about it!

Today was fairly unproductive, I read some of 'Trainspotting' by Irvine Welsh, played some video games and took it very easy. The photo for today is quite a common one I think, My friend Melissa did it a while back now and I thought it looked wicked and this morning I saw the same idea in a photography magazine. It is simple but effective (The shadow is supposed to look like a loveheart).

Until tomorrow

Day #03

This is the reaction to a cut in beer and bingo tax. Only kidding.

This crazy couple is my Nan and Granddad, I've known them a while now and they're fairly cool (Obvious understatement). They are the kindest most supportive and loving Grandparents that anyone could ask for. Plus my nan makes some amazing cakes...But mainly the love and support thing.

Today I got stuck in two traffic jams, one on the way to Folkestone and another on the way back, I don't want to grumble and complain in case somebody was badly hurt, instead I will say that I went on a car adventure to find my way to Folkestone which took an hour and a half in total.

The photo for today is a photo I took this morning before meeting my buddy Arthur, it has been a long but awesome day.

Until tomorrow

Day #02

Day number 2, I have had 33 views in the past 24 hours, mostly from Americans verifying my blog to make sure this is not just a waste of space on the internet (Like the BNP website is) (Ooh, slam).

I'm keeping the quality of the photos fairly low for the minute, unintentionally but today's photo is of the sea (Well durr). I loved the calm serenity that the sea offered this morning, it was raining but still, pretty sweet. I thought I needed to reflect this simplicity by showing only the edge of the beach, perhaps a metaphor for how insignificant we (the land) are in terms of a much wider world (The sea), or perhaps I was being lazy and didn't want to get wet anymore so cracked off this little picture. You choose.

I am feeling pretty motivated to do this blog, I have tried a few attempts since the big one two years ago which haven't worked out but I have a good feeling about this one.

My plan for tonight is eat pizza and chill

Until tomorrow

Will :)

Day #01

Woah. This. Is. Mental.

Okay, so I started one of these project 365 things 2 and a half years ago, it documented my life for a whole year and I loved doing it, it's time to get the band back together....And the hormonal teenage boy who thinks he's funny. I hope you like the name of this blog, nice and simple (cannot believe nobody else nabbed it first). Just think, by the time I complete this blog I will be coming to the end of my first year at university. Which leads me on to the first post!

Last night I found out that I got an unconditional place at Aberystwyth University, this means that I no longer rely on my A-levels to gain me a seat at the scholar's table. When I found out I was parked looking for directions on my phone, suddenly an email.... I went crazy, I got out of my car and just started screaming. A tad mental but what is more mental is that they are giving me £1,000 a year to study there. The letter which I received shortly after is detailing my success.

Also in the photo is a necklace, it is something that I picked up on my travels last summer and I haven't thought much of it until today. Someone asked me why I wear it? I wear it because it is the symbolic shell of the Camino de Santiago (The way of Saint James), 'The camino' - The way, the shell signifies that no matter what problems we face in life, no matter what hardships or ailments inflict us, we find a way of coping, of dealing and overcoming. They expected me to say that I bought it for £3 in River Island, instead they got me lecturing them on the difficulties of living. Great friend making skill I have.

Okay, so I guess this is the part where I say

Until tomorrow
